Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production facility.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Be an effective communicator
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift truck license (counterbalance).
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
- Confident Operator
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Reliable transport is a must
